Q. Is Google Apps For Work free?
A. Yes it is. As of 12/06/2012 the Standard version of Google Apps is no longer free. The cost to use Google Apps is now $5.00 per month or $50.00 per year per email account. The installation service fee of $49.00 offered through GmaiHelp.com is just that, a one time installation service fee. We configure your domain name so that it points to Google’s mail servers as well as go through all of the Google verifications for you which proves you own your domain name. We start you with one email account which has administrative rights allowing you to create as many others email accounts you need using your domain name (your-name@your-domain.com). If you’ve already registered your domain name with regiSTAR.com, then you do not need our installation service. They already provide this installation service free as part of your domain name registration. The installation service is independent of the Google Apps monthly or yearly fee for each email account. The initial email account you’ll be starting off with comes with a free 30 day trial.

Q. I’m currently using my web hosting provider’s mail servers for email. What will happen to all my current email accounts?
A. Before configuring your domain name you will need to make sure you have a list of all your current email addresses and the passwords for those email accounts. Once we have pointed your domain name to Google’s mail servers, you will be show how to recreate your exiting email accounts on Google’s mail servers. To ensure you have the shortest amount of downtime, you will need to make sure you have all your old emails off of your current email server. If that doesn’t make sense to you, don’t worry, we’ll explain it prior to doing anything.

A. Yes, although there is a one time small service fee of $20.00. Q. There is rumor that using Google Apps will help me my web site rank higher on Google. Is that true?
A. There is no way for us to accurately say either way. However you will still need at least a standard Gmail account to use any of Google’s integrated services such as Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Google Groups, Google Network Affiliate Programs, Google Drive, Google Voice and more. We highly recommend using Google Apps because it allows you to use your domain name as part of your email address.
